A great place for a day out with children. The staffs are quite friendly, and my son had a good time there. I recommend to buy a wristband if you plan more than 8 rides. The parking is not free, 6 pounds per day.

Been going here every summer from last 20 years. Hasn't changed much and in my opinion it shouldn't change. There is something for everyone from elderly people to toddlers. Best part is the picnic area, you spent whole day together with your family and friends doing bbq and party in open. Have all the facilities specifically the toilets which have improved very much. Really great place for a day out.

Lovely day out with the family, plenty to do and with a wristband each we were able to go on everything.

Aviary and land rover jeeps were closed during our visit which our boys would have really enjoyed but it didn't stop us having fun.

Best part for me was the boating lake where I rowed around a lake it was good fun plenty of laughs.

We had food which was tasty and filled us up plenty.

This place is amazing. I took my 13year old daughter and we had a great time. There is loads to do. There is a small area with rides that includes a roller coaster, log flume, spinning swings etc etc. There is a mini train that takes you on a tour of the grounds. Lots of cafes that are reasonably priced. Lots of areas for little tots with little rides, they also do little shows for little ones. Wicksteed also has a huge adventure playground for kids of all ages to enjoy. A truly great place!!!

Great place with variety of rides enjoyed by my 9 year old grandson and his friend. Fantastic water chute. This 65 year old will not be going on the treetop 'walkways', more like assault course but the boys enjoyed it and I did get round without having to be rescued (just) 😂 enjoyed the train ride as well. Lovely fresh pizza at the pavilion cafe recharged the batteries. The boys really enjoyed the slides as well. Fully recommend this park for a great day out making memories

Love that you can come to the park and use the vast amount of playground equipment, walk around the grounds and have a picnic and only pay for the car park.
The rides are worth paying the wristband fee for if you’re there all day. The queues at busy times are very slow, we waited an hour for the log ride as there were only what looked like 2 cars going round and they were not filling them, some went with just 1 person in. Common sense should be to fill them at peak times. Other than that, great place to go with kids and adults of all ages. Completely dog friendly too.

We went here for the day and had a great time. The park itself is clean, tidy and well kept. We purchased wristbands for us all (2 adults and 3 children). We arrived at the park at around 10:30am and quickly got our wristbands and started our adventure. All of the attractions that we participated in seemed well maintained and as stated earlier all well kept. The park was not very busy when we visited so the queues were short. The longest queue was for the log flume, which was obviously the favourite of a lot of the visitors and we probably waited for around 30 minutes. We purchased food from the fish and chips and the burger shack, with plenty of others to choose from, cafes, restaurants etc I did see signs for a pizzeria but am uncertain as to whether that was open. The prices seemed fair and what we had was tasty. Our only real criticism is the opening and closing times, we felt that, especially in the summer, the parks attractions and food outlets could be opened for longer, perhaps 7 or 8pm. As the attractions closed at 5pm at around 4:45pm we told our boys they could pick one more before we went only to be told that they were already closed. They had chosen to go on the swings in the fairground area and there were roughly 10 available seats but the girl didn't let them on, just told them that that was the last ride and sent them away. We just felt we didn't have enough time to see it all but I guess that means another visit in the future. I would recommend this destination for any family looking for a day trip or even a camping trip with onsite campgrounds. All in all a great day.

Fantastic old school fun with some good rides thrown in for good measure. Food as expected cost more than the high street, but by no means is at usual park rip off prices. At £20 for a childs wristband pass and £18 for an adult a reasonable priced day out (you can buy individual ride tickets, but that can work out very expensive), parking was just £6 for the day so again very reasonable. I can recommend it for a fun lowish cost day.
Another plus is the food portions are good and the food itself very tasty.
