Beautiful church, very friendly to new members of the congregation. Lots of events for charity held here. Street parking. There has been alot of renervations over the last few years. As with all our old churches there is always work to do

St Leonard's was established in the 12th Century though it was in ruins in 1600 and though work was done it continued to deteriorate. It was demolished in 1820 and a new one completed 2 years later which was added to later in the century. The church is normally open but currently with building works acces can be gained in the mornings by ringing the door bell.

Its our local church. of choice. We chose it because it has provided us with our religious needs and provides a social environment amidst an open, friendly and enthusiastic group of people. All are welcome at St. Leonard's

Nice church in the parish of Lexden. Some nice stained glass windows and if you look closely you can find tiny grey friars hidden in some of these, together with other symbols reflecting prominent local names, etc. Nice to see it is very welcoming to anyone who wants to drop in.
