As a broad church Anglican I found St Matthews a perfect fit: good Evangelical preaching, welcoming community, modern worship music mixed with some classic hymns and sermons worth staying awake for. Has an active youth group, good choice for students and welcoming family service as well as Bible study prayer groups etc. Evening service particularly welcoming to newbies. Good people, strong church, fine fellowship. Recommended.

Child friendly church with groups the kids can go and learn about God will the service is on. Lovely hot drinks with some weeks cake/breakfast

I had a really warm welcome when I visited when I was staying in Cheltenham for the weekend. The service I attended was an "all-age" service and it was truely all age - understandable to children, but not patronising adults. Very clear message on the parable of the Lost Sheep. They clearly love God. Would highly commend. Range of ages.

Good church all around. Amazing preachers, friendly congregation, a range of youth activities and services to suit all tastes. Lovely couple running the church along with a fantastic caring team. A real asset to Cheltenham!
