St Peter's Church, Walworth

Beautiful peaceful gardens with mature trees, a great place to relax.

It's nice and big and it has a cafe underneath where you can buy treats and relax. The people there are also very caring and welcoming so they will help you feel at home in no time.

Afternoon visit easy to find on a quite road not busy peaceful and private, there is a cafe near the church and loads of shops near the church. The day was cold and the weather was not good but I had a good time for my first visit to the church.

I have not been to the church for ages. What used to be the churchyard is more like a garden now its very peaceful, nice place to relax and the monkey park is nice too, many a tropical plant.

Loved it because its historic has a Crypt beautiful stained glass windows. Welcoming church

Substance misuse meeting every Sunday from 1-2pm all welcome

I'm almost housebound and find the online services and tik tok great. I'm a roman Catholic and never realised how close the services are. St Peters are very lucky to have Fr Andrew and the congregation are fully involved. Thank you all. Watching from Hertfordshire.

Grade I Listed nestling off the busy Walworth Road, attributed to John Soane is certainly worth the diversion.
