An absolute hidden gem of London which has been turned into a wonderful space for everyone to share. Open most Sundays, check their website for details, it has a fabulous and unique mosaic memorial to those who have been awarded the George Cross.

Interesting structure. Unusual fusion of architectural styles, with a protective partial canopy recently constructed over the East section. Curiously styled depiction of George & the dragon on the East wall.

Really fantastic place with a great story. Some significant art, such as the beautiful iron gate.

Nice little ruins of a chaple with some nice architectural details on the outside. You can't go inside as the gates don't ever seem to be open. Maybe on special occasions but these seem to be rare. I wish the council would publish open days details.

Ruined by a 1944 V2 bomb, abandoned for decades, the Garrison Church has been lovingly preserved to save it's valuable mosaics and memorials in recent years. Built in 1863, it was a very impressive building originally at the end of the Royal Artillery Barracks parade ground. It is now opened on Sundays by volunteers and has a programme of special events within its calm, historic walls.

Saw the Tramshed Comedy Night there and it was beautiful! Just at sunset so the light hit the gold and the whole place glowed!
