A welcoming Anglican church firmly in the Anglo Catholic tradition.

I like visiting churches and just sitting there and being mindful. I went here to vote. The voting staff were well set up at the back of church and were helpful. I could see the alter and it very nice. The church has garden patio with benches outside and I like to sit on the benches to catch my breath whilst waking to the shops.

Father Edward Lewis whom I've known for 4 years is a truly inspirational Man of God, a Wonderful Patron and Upholder of the Faith for the Ministry of The Church of England and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

St Mary the Virgin at Kenton is a beautiful Anglian church located on a busy main road, but yet a place of peaceful calm.
When I visited it was a Sunday before the 10:30am liturgy I was welcomed by Fr Mike who gave me time to chat about his church and invited me to the parish hall for a cup of tea and meet the community.
The parish is very Marian in worship ending the liturgy with the Angelus prayer. The liturgy is "catholic" and the pope is mention in the eucharistic prayer.
A very peaceful and welcoming church. It also have a moving war memorial in the grounds as well as a garden of reembrace.
The parish is due to have a new parish priest take up residence in the coming weeks..
