St Stephen Walbrook

Magnificent church designed by Christopher Wren as the prototype for St. Paul’s Cathedral - a must see if you’re in the area of Bank in London - a short walk from the tube station - it is where the Samaritans were founded. The temple of Mithras is just across the road.

An indifferent exterior belies an elegant, understated and becalmed interior. Here you will find one of the most beautiful formal spaces in all London. Wondrous and uplifting.

This is a beautiful light and airy church. It's quite small and intimate. I went to see a choral recital there and the acoustics are perfect for that.

Great to see the church the puritan great Thomas Watson preached at from 1646 to 1662.

Lovely Church commonly known as the "Round Church" beacause of it's circular Alter and Pews. The acoustics are fantastic and many Classical Music Events are held here at Lunch Time and Evening. Close to London Bridge and Momument.

Perfect round church inside with a splendid dome ceiling, creating light and ideal for acoustics.

Beautiful architecture and high quality weekly musical events.

Gorgeous to walk through . We happened upon an organ recital which we listened to briefly.
