St. Giles' Church, Hartington

Lovely church to visit

14th century building. Worth stopping to see the building. Services most Sundays at 10:00 for the local church. All, visitors or residents welcomed. Come and worship together, meet local people and be introduced to Jesus.

I saw some family plaques (Bateman family).
There are sime interesting pictures in the roof of the south transept. Also there are some faded well paintings in the nave.

Beautiful Church in a great setting rising above the equally beautiful Village of Hartington, near Buxton. The Church grounds are so peaceful with a few seats scattered around, great place reflect on lifes ups and downs.

Beautiful Anglican Church in the village of Harrington.

Beautiful parish church from the 12th century. Open 10-17:00

It was a lovely communion service on 1st January. The fellowship were friendly,welcoming and looked after me very well. I look forward to visiting again in 2023.
