Beautiful medieval church with a lovely entrance gate. Another interesting place to visit in the Nene River Valley.

All Saint's Church in the village of Aldwincle, Northamptonshire, dates back to the 15th Century. The square towered Church dominates the surrounding countryside.

The grounds towards the back of the church is a burial ground with lots of headstones to the graves.

The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade 1 listed building, and is under the care of The Churches Conservation Trust.

I have known this church all my life , its good to see it being used again albeit not quite for the purpose it was built for . Iam pleased to see the cemetery is being looked after where it matters most. A lovely church to visit .
