Church of St Mary, Tharston

I go here when I can as some of my family here lovely peaceful church yard

This mostly fourteenth century church is in a rural location and there's a peaceful feel to it. Not open when I visited, but it is usually open and there are keyholder details provided.

There's a mausoleum behind the church and the chancel of the church has undergone some changes with the height being lowered.

A sweet little church, small but sufficient. My nan loved the place and made sure we knew that she was to be buried there. Graveyard is fairly well maintained, but has some real problem areas when it's damp.
Parking is almost non existent though
