St Illtud's Church

An atmospheric churchyard that sits on the remains of one of the first celtic collages of christianity. Interestingly, this site is where Saint Patrick and Saint David were educated.
Church features a small museum like room that holds ancient standing marker stones that commemorate Welsh Kings of old.
Adjacent to the churchyard is a small memorial garden that is surrounded by a small brook.
A must see if in the area.

A wonderful ancient church that spans the generations, a recently restored family Chapel ( the Raglan Family)with a mezane floor with a new home for the some of the oldest grave markers and standing stones .
A truly moving place weather religious or not, an area of peace where you can reflect or just have a quiet 🤔 moment..

Truly a fabulous historic place set in the medieval town scape. Worth a visit if you're interested in early Welsh Christian history!

Interesting restoration of a very historic site and a lovely church. I failed to find a leaflet or similar for sale amongst the souvenirs on offer to aid my visit, which would have helped
