The Church of St Edward in Knighton is a large church, completely rebuilt in the 19th century to replace its predecessor from the 14th century. Inside the church is light and airy, with a north and south aisle and high clerestory. The chancel is decorated in the Arts and Crafts style dedicated by the vicar Martin Rickets, along with the five windows in the north and south walls of the chancel. Behind the altar is a quilted reredos, and above it a brilliant east window.

Very Old church, with wooden beams and wonderful stain glass windows, a real Traditional Church. With a large Stone font at the back.

I often bump into the reverand and her husband when I'm walking my dogs - such a lovely couple. I'm sure they'd appreciate you paying them a visit. The church itself is beautiful and takes pride of place right at the top of Church Road in peaceful, scenic location.
