Beautiful old church dating back over one thousand years. Named after St John, it is a really beautiful structure. It's not the biggest but it has real history and character.
The grounds also contain a graveyard which adds an eerie feeling. I especially like it here during autumn when the leave change colour.
It's a great addition to an historical town centre

Always the best experience of faith, hope and love. I enjoy listening to the readings and guidance and being a part of the church within the community. Covid has not stopped us communing with the modesty of it all it makes it an even more important and essential time for prayer. I enjoy the spirit of the people and the time I spend in this ancient 12th century church.
