The people of St John's Church were very welcoming and accomodating for our wedding earlier this month. I feel privileged that we were the first wedding here since 1983! They were all very helpful, caring and were red hot on Covid restrictions too (sitting in households, spaced 2m apart, track and trace etc.). Really can't fault them. This may not look like an ordinary church, and that's because it certainly is something special.

I recently had my wedding here, the first one since the 1980's. I must say that it was wonderfully decorated and the vicar couldn't do enough to help us and make sure we were compliant with all the restrictions in place.
Even though it's a smaller church, it can be like a Tardis when you need it to be. We managed to fit 30 guests in while still maintaining the correct distances between everyone.
I honestly cannot recommend this church enough for whatever your needs are.

Such a warm welcome at Saint John's, the Vicar was fantastic, funny and professional during the wedding rehearsal and ceremony. The hall was decorated perfectly for the event and despite the Covid restrictions the hall still felt full of warmth! A great experience!

Attended this hidden gem of a church for a recent wedding. The inside was decorated beautifully and despite all the chairs being spaced out due to covid it still felt cosy. The Vicar, Rev Mike, was wonderful!

The building being split into two parts is a great idea, the church is separate to the hall would recommend as a church or as a function room, cost to hire is affordable and all facilities at hand would definitely recommend
