St Beuno's Church is first mentioned in 1254, originally a small wooden structure. It was replaced by a larger, brick structure in 1803 by John Hiram Haycock and then largely rebuilt in 1876. The graveyard is small and well maintained, and not too over crowded. The location is fairly central in Berriew itself. The main entrance is covered by the Berriew War Memorial Lychgate, made in 1933.
