St Nicholas Montgomery Church

Visible from much of the surrounding area, St Nicholas Church is Norman, built in 1226. It contains the tomb of George Herbert's parents, who lived in Montgomery Castle after its completion; 13th Century carved wood rood screen; spectacular mid 19th century stained glass windows and an intact original nave ceiling.
There are regular services in the church, as well as other events throughout the year.
