The Secret Sanctuary

We took our beaver scouts for a visit, learn't a lot about endangered animals & had a fantastic evening.

Surprised at the lack of encouragement and support given by the staff after agreeing to be an assessor for a part of a Duke of Edinburgh award for a relative. Resulted in having to start again on the skill part and find a new assessor. Very disappointing. Having said this for events and parties I am sure this would be fine for anyone wishing to visit. Just not if you want help with your D of E .

So dedicated, friendly owners. Very lucky animals and reptiles in their care . Great job done by all .

Secret no longer! At least it ought not be. Fantastic place nestled on the way up to Dunstable downs next to the golf club housing all manner of tortoise, snakes, lizards, insects and more. We spent several hours there today just taking it all in, with so much passion and knowledge on demand from the staff it's be impossible not to love this place! we were able to handle several of the reptiles which was a great experience and I even got to stroke a fish haha! Go and see for yourself and enjoy!

The Secret Sanctuary have given my little brother Sam the opportunity to further his career and passion in animal care. Sam can struggle with his social skills and confidence due to his autism but Jenna, Shelley, Mick and Kev have treated him like family from day one. This is a wonderful place full of wonderful people dedicating themselves to giving the best quality of life to these animals. Booking a tour is not only great fun but also helps to support the continued care of these animals.

Beautiful, tranquil place. Many more animals than the 3 on my photos. Everyone, big and small loved it.

Had a fantastic time. A must go to visit place with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great for all the family.
