A very impressive, large space - everything from earrings to lamps, Scandinavian glass, bakelite telephones, Louis Vuitton trunks, furniture, Grace Jones vinyl, silver teapots...I didn't see any junk! Everything was labelled correctly - they've done their research. Worth the trek out to Chiswick.

It is a great place to look for antiques and they have some beautiful items ranging from furniture to lighting to clothing to accessories... List goes on. The main point being the range and prices allow a buyer to find something within their range. It's beautiful the things sold here. I brought a friend and he bought a overhead industrial lamp which he loves. I bought some luggage and it's fantastic. Lots of things here are well chosen and sellers have a good eye.

An formidable assembly of mostly 20th.century furniture, decorative arts, lighting, ancillary paraphernalia and costume jewellery.
An impressive selection of Art Deco and related items here.
Astutely displayed often in meticulously stage-crafted settings where the retro, repro and the real are cunningly juxtaposed to good effect.
A finger on the pulse evinces prevailing contemporary taste and trends.
Prices flitter about the upscale side of realistic. Bargains scarce but this be no criticism as the concept and curation is admirable.

The Old Cinema is a remarkable venue full of antiquities, quality furniture, unusual lighting and home decor. An interesting place worth visiting regularly as you're bound to see something different every time. We're lucky they're just a few doors away especially as we can pop in to see what's new and admire the displays which are always fabulous.

Great place for antiques and nick nacks, the place to go for furniture if you like 1920/30s style.

Purchased a 1930s Art Deco statue of a female warrior on horseback by French sculptor Melo. Beautiful piece! Was just as described. Unfortunately it was damaged during shipment from the UK to Texas (even though it was carefully secured within a wooden crate). Will at the Old Cinema worked on the insurance claim for me and this beautiful statue has been restored. I highly recommend The Old Cinema. Besides their diverse and very cool collection of furniture and antique art, they have wonderful customer service that is responsive and very helpful.

This shop is not cheap by any means but has a delightful array of furniture, decorative objects and collectable miscellanea. Ideal for presents and just the place if you are looking for quality designer items for the home. Whenever I am in Chiswick I always pop in and usually end up buying something! Great furniture and lovely glass.
