Vintage Motoring-UK

I visited this shop more out of curiosity rather than as a collector of automobilia but all my god, what an absolutely fabulous shop.
I always enter, what I term "high end" antiques or vintage shops, with some trepidation as the owners usually scowl at you or look at you like you can't afford something or you are wasting their time! This was certainly not the case as the lady owner was very welcoming, friendly and was willing to share her vast amount of knowledge about the subject with me.
It was more like entering a museum dedicated to the "motor car and motor bikes" and racing but with your own appointed personal guide!
I didn't buy anything on this occasion but I will definitely be back even if it is just to admire such wonderful stock.
Any one reading this, make this a point of any visit if you like motoring or vintage related items!

A fascinating shop with a plethora of vintage signs and interesting pieces of history both big and small, all beautifully displayed. We spent quite some time just browsing and chatting to the lovely owners about their stock, signage and cars in general without any pressure to purchase anything. Such an appealing place and well worth a visit for anyone with an interest in motoring history or old signage. The website has all of the stock listed but there's nothing like seeing vintage items in person!

Bought the most beautiful 1960's Fairground Ride Motorbike today. First time we've ever been in this wonderful Shop so full of amazing Memorabilia. Will definitely be going back again soon! A real gem of a place ran by two lovely lovely ladies!

This store caught our eye while me and my partner where out and about, we pulled in next to the shop window and was greeted by two lovely ladies. Both very knowledgeable and helpful. We stayed talking for over an hour about past current and future vehicles. Will definitely be back for a cuppa tea!

First visit to this place and very impressed. The lady we spoke to was very nice and knowledgeable about the products. Even got offered a cold drink which was a lovely touch and even offered my daughter one who waiting in the car. Very much worth a visit.
