After several weeks of online searching for Davenport desks, I am the happy owner of a Victorian-figured walnut antique Davenport from Driscoll Antiques. First, the desk itself is even more beautiful than the photos. It is also sturdy without being clunky; it is in excellent condition; and it is the perfect size for a small space. And it's a comfortable work area.

Second, I am very pleased with the service. Mr Driscoll responded quickly to my inquiries before, during, and after the purchase process. The desk was so well packed that I had to make three trips to the curbside recycle bin. And despite Brexit and a raging pandemic, and various holidays in the UK and Spain, the desk arrived even sooner than expected.

I would not hesitate to do business with Driscolls Antiques again.

May 2022. Purchased a beautiful Victorian Bow Fronted Mahogany Chest of Drawers. Super quality piece of furniture. James and his courier Rick were excellent. Delighted!

I have to say, the pictures did not do justice to the products! The rosewood corner table is really beautiful and also bigger than I expected. It has filled a space really well and allows a sizeable lampshade to be placed on it and two shelves still to spare. The bookcase with the pull-out design, etc. is very different which adds to its character, solid and all-round really nice. The delivery was on time. Overall, James and his team provided an excellent service and two great products.

Thank you for the beautiful antique wardrobe and the timely delivery. It fits perfectly in our space, and is as lovely here as it was in the photo.

The delivery guys were also very professional and courteous, and brought the wardrobe up our tricky stairs without any issues, which is not an easy feat!

The most stunning array of antiques I've seen in a while with fair prices and a wonderful delivery service. I was blown away by the beauty of the two tables we received this week and the care taken to ensure they weren't damaged during delivery. I am sure I will be back again in the future. I used Priory Polish (mid/dark) from Driscoll's Antique World to finish a Georgian table I was renovating. It was the first time I had undertaken such a task. The wax looks terrific; I used three coats on a sealed surface (Shellac sealer). It was incredibly easy to use and a very good price too. I thoroughly recommend this wax. they also very kindly estimated the period/age of the table from photos I submitted.

We bought our new Victorian dining table online. The item was exactly as described and very beautiful. It was also very well packed and delivered exactly as promised by courier. All in time for our Burns Supper! A really excellent service.

Purchased a large Victorian wind out table based purely on the photos online so it was a bit of a gamble. I need not have worried as it arrived by courier expertly wrapped to avoid damage. It looks beautiful and I’m so pleased. Lovely Company to do business with. Would certainly recommend them.
