Plenty to look at. Something for everyone. Very affordable gifts at reasonable prices. Staff are happy to assist or advise, if required. You are always made to feel welcome and do not feel under pressure to buy. Some great bargains to be found.

Well set out with quite a varied selection of items on offer. Many of these places are far to clinical but some of the cabinets gave the impression that they had not been sorted out in years. So just possible down in a corner partly covered be a label there might be a treasure marked at a price set many years ago. If your tempted by anything always ask for a discount. Its not going to be like bargain hunt on the tele but expect 10%. If you cant get at least that walk away. This was February on a very cold windy day when we visited and it was busy. Going to be rammed when the tourists come in force. Watch your shoulder or bag. You dont want to be knocking stuff over and getting charged for breakage.

Since overhearing a conversation by a dealer after his customer left (he didn't know I was there browsing behind a cabinet) ... I would not use this place on principle. Dealer promised he would contact owner to ask best price for customer but once the customer left was overheard saying he'd no intention of contacting the owner and would just tell customer, when he came back, whatever price he chose. I couldn't help but to say I'd overheard and said I thought it was not ethical or honest. Response? "I'll run my business however I choose! ".... what a nice guy 🙄! (sure this doesn't apply to the whole place though) .... I guess the massive deals given on antiques road trip doesn't instill trust in some of these dealers???

Yikes, wasn't expecting to see racist statues on my visit to this store, and yet there they are being sold for £35 each. Disgusting. You'd think some research would've been done on these items, generally people have the sense not to profit out of their racist history.

My wife and I found the shop to have a great number of antiques. The gentleman who was seated at the door which I took to be the owner was very pleasant and helpful. Even when my wife saw a lovely glass vase but made a mistake about the price which was a lot more than she thought, but we bought it anyway. Lovely shop. Would have liked to spend more.

Interesting, lots of porcelain and jewellery in particular, but lots of other antiques too. Some very interesting medals with associated history of the people who were given them. Man sat at the door was a bit gruff when telling us to use the hand sanitiser, politeness would have been preferred. Not busy when we went. Well worth a look if you are passing by, as is the museum which is very near by. Enjoy.

Enjoyed browsing here the stock is really well presented, sometimes antique centres can feel a bit over whelming with too much to see. This place isn't like that. Good quality antiques.
