The people that work here are wonderful kind people who are always eager to talk about the facts and history behind the objects in the shop.

Such a fantastic local find with the most beautiful reclaimed tiles. Can't wait to get them installed at home.

Quite small and dingy.
Not an awful lot of selection - not much interaction from the shop keeper either.

The shop keeper had sold me a faulty pocket watch and as he sold it to me he tried to convince me that the watch was over wound. He tried to shake it and then it would start working. He told me to take it home and let it 'unwind' itself. If you know pocket watches or Google you would know that over winding doesn't happen to pocket watch.

The watch doesn't work property so I took it back as he also promised to fix it for free. The person he's assigned to fix it couldn't and in the end it would cost me £125 to fix the watch on top of what I already paid an initial price on. When I try and negotiate for a refund from the initial price as I simply felt that I was being sold a mis-representation of a faulty product, the shop keeper became very rude.

It's a pity that the shop is such a nice place but ruined by rude shop keepers who often stand and gossip while customers are browsing.

Great Antique shop, Leo was great and knew what he was talking about, will buy from them again!
