There's a good selection of quite attractive Art Deco jewellery sold here. It might be a tad on the expensive side but I suppose that's the price you pay for having a physical shop that you can walk into, look around and pick things up in. However, I have been to some of the other antiques shops in Oxford and even if they are cheaper, the stuff they have on offer definitely isn't as nice.

Two of the three ladies that I've had experience with in the shop can be a little overbearing. They're very eager to help but I never feel like I'm getting an honest answer, more, whatever they think I need to hear to make me buy something.

I'd recommend it as a place to get reasonably inexpensive, attractive jewellery but maybe resolve not to buy anything on your first visit if you know you're an easy sell.

Tourists beware - daylight robbery!

A sweet little shop with some prints, vintage bric-a-brac, but mostly Victorian and Art-Deco jewellery, which is at least 3 times more expensive than the upper going rate. Rings that should cost around £100 pounds are sold close to £300 without remorse or shame. I understand that some tourists don't know any better and are therefore happy to pay inflated rates. Nevertheless, as a vintage lover and antique buyer this place makes me uncomfortable and ashamed for such blatant rip-off in my touristy town. The Antiques On High (Street) is a larger store and not as shamelessly overpriced.

Fantastic customer with memory of me months later. Brilliant array of jewellery and a great selection of more antiques downstairs. My favourite part is how they commission jewellery based off of an antique.

Bought a gold bracelet from here and it kept falling off my girlfriend's wrist due to a bad clasp. I went in and they nicely replaced it free of charge, however I don't know whether they actually repaired it as it soon fell off my partners wrist again and was lost. I called the shop back and they essentially told me it was bad luck and offered nothing in compensation for a bad job.

my favorite jewellery shop in Oxford. I visit this shop every time I visit UK. Hopefully I can visit there again soon.

Pros
- This shop has a good selection of antique jewellery

Cons
- Staff: they are rude, not knowledgable and don’t seem to be interested in selling the pieces. When I asked some questions about the piece I was interested in (the diamond weight), they did not have documentation nor the experience to even give me a ball park. I was told to go to a high street jewellery store if I wanted to know this information. Not the response I expect for a £400+ piece, especially given the current state of economy

- Price: the prices are inflated here. I’d say it’s one of the most expensive antique jewellery shops I have visited, and I’ve been to a few up & down the country. I ended up buying the piece because it was a style that cannot be resized and the one they had fit me (similar pieces on eBay go for 1/3 of the price). I would advice a quick Google search to check prices so you can make an informed decision and don’t have buyers remorse

Overall it was a sour experience and I would not recommend buying from here unless it’s necessary.

Thank you so much to Morgan and Megan. Despite a relatively small purchase of silver earrings set with emeralds, these two young people treated us like royalty. What a pleasure to be served in this way and with such courtesy. The shop is delightful and stocks something for everyone. I could easily have spent all afternoon looking in the cabinets! Morgan was knowledgeable and inspiring to my husband and myself as we enjoyed his delight in discussing various items. Sending you both a very big thank you from Scotland.

I've visited Norah's Antiques for several years and always manage to find something really interesting here. The staff are absolutely lovely - I just wanted to mention that I had a great experience speaking to Morgan (maybe on Monday?) and it was such a pleasure to chat with him. Fantastic customer service. I always come away from the shop with something new and of high quality - looking forward to my next visit already. Good luck with the end of your degree and wishing you all the best in your masters too, Morgan! xox
