Like the convenience and extra space and facilities. Front door to building wouldn't close. Would rather have a proper shower than shower over bath. Quilt not warm enough on that occasion. Chilly but still only summer bedding. Excellent location. Handy to have private car park. Would prefer gate shut at night.

Perfect! The room was clean, tidy and quiet. The kitchen facilities were more than adequate with everything but the food there for you. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. With free WiFi, bus links and a park just over the road. Would have liked to have stayed longer and will be returning.

The booking experience and the apartment itself warrants a 4 star rating. The location is great and the apartment has everything you need for a short stay. However it was very frustrating that when I came to leave, my car was blocked in by another vehicle. I spent 10 minutes walking around the building before deciding to phone the office. The car was identified as belonging to a caretaker so they rang him to ask him to move it. He wasn’t at all apologetic and when I told him his action was ‘thoughtless’ he simply replied ‘well I work here.’ It was such an annoying end to what had previously been a very good stay. Ideally he should have found somewhere else to park and if this really wasn’t possible he just needed to leave a note of his mobile number on his car!

Nice stay, could have been a bit cleaner, oven hadn't been cleaned for weeks, towels not the greatest, bit noisy as our apartment was on the main road. Main front door difficult to shut. 7 out of 10 max.

We had the Wagner Suite. It was very clean, nice and well equipped with a kitchen, washingmaschine and TV. We stayed only 1 night, but this room would be suitable also for a multiday visit. And not to forget just a couple of minutes walk to the city center.

Where to even start! We stayed in Cardiff, The artisan Quarter Serviced Apartments. I would not recommend ANYONE to stay here! We Arrived Monday 21st August and had to leave Tuesday 22nd in the evening and didn't arrive home till midnight and we were not meant to leave till Friday 25th. We walked into a hell hole, mould up the walls, dirty stained sheets (not changed since the last people there), dirty floors and worktops covered in hair and food. Then even worse the oven was the same, hair food and grease!

Moved us to another room for the night, a bit better. Bad nights sleep with people slamming doors and up and down stairs. They sorted the mould on one wall but not another and when we waited around ruining our plans for it to be ready to go in, we noticed the stains on the sheets were STILL there!! Dirty cutlery and pubic hairs on the dirty sheets. Two nice ladies worked there and one very rude man who was being sarcastic. They also ignored my calls when I was trying to contact them all afternoon, but when we called from my partners phone, they called him back straight away and they tried to say they hadn't received any calls from my phone.

Completely ruined our time away which was meant to be a nice getaway but it turned into something else!

Lovely studio apartment in a good location BUT there is a real issue with parking here.

On our arrival, there was nowhere to park and on calling the help line (there is no onsite staff), spoke to someone who could not have been less helpful and the told us we should be grateful parking was free when the average cost for city parking is £25 per day. How that benefited us when there was no space I have no idea, but she really was quite rude. We were advised to park on the streets but there was no space at all and we ended up parking some distance from the apartments.

We managed to park in the apartments the next day, but had to go to the supermarket and found ourselves in exactly the same situation on our return.

We bumped into a couple who had been there for some months and who said it was always as bad, and that they frequently either couldn’t park or had their cars blocked in, as people double parked.

The situation is caused by having more apartments than parking spaces and exacerbated by no gate or control in who parks there. Given city centre parking is tight - I would be very unsurprised if some of the cars parking there were not from guests. It is then made even worse by building works which have removed a section of parking space (unclear whether this is temporary or permanent) and also by building debris in some parts of the car park - which could be easily resolved if they actually cared about their customers and not just about the revenue.

If the building works add more apartments, then the future will only be worse.

Conclusion - if you are driving a car there, this is maybe not the place for you.

Avoid at all costs- Very rude landlord, never answers phone or queries, lots of bodge jobs all over with plumbing etc, no heating or ventilation hence mould in areas. Only interested in money! As it is a flat knocked in half (when I stayed it clearly hadn't been registered as 2 flats) walls are very thin so you can hear everything!
