Really great service i must say. Everything was done smoothly from day one.

Ashton Burkinshaw have been nothing but pro-active in helping me find and rent a property as a tenant. Josh and Lauren have both gone to extra efforts to make my experience as smooth as possible. We had to quickly move into the Tunbridge Wells area. Right from the walk-in to the Ashton Burkinshaw office till the house move in, it was a seamless experience. Unfortunately had a really bad experience with this letting agent. Although nice when advertising the property and lovely agents on the surface. They avoided sending the inventory and only sent via email after picking up the keys for the rental property. I was not happy with the property on day 1, and as soon as receiving the pictured inventory, wanting to withdraw and return the keys straight after seeing it (again on day 1). There were certain misunderstandings with how the tenancy would proceed.

To get out of the contract promptly, I offered to sacrifice a large chunk of the deposit, that was not considered. Even though not occupying the property and having unforeseen financial difficulties myself, I offered to pay full rent at an very early stage until a new tenant would take it, again no consideration. The agent managing my property was pretty unresponsive to emails and extremely cold over the phone. It was a very stressful experience trying to reason appropriately, and plead my case to the landlord. As soon as you've signed anything on the dotted line, their service can change. On one bright side, I've got to say Lauren (not my agent, but one in the branch), was absolutely lovely and had a great, personable approach.

Would not reccommend at all unfortunately.
