Found this place while looking for a "proper" tea shop in Greenwich, thanks to Google maps. They have an interesting selection of teas, which they serve in cast iron tea pots. I can recommend "the tea with no name". The cakes are also excellent and they had three vegan cakes. Really friendly and chatty staff.

Love this tiny mini coffee shop in Greenwich.
They have really vintage seating arrangement and love the way it’s lighting is done.
It’s a must visit if you like vintage decor and great coffee with home baked cakes.
I always try there spice chai latte It’s just yummm.

They have collection of good herbal teas.
Must check out this winter

A tea and coffee place in small street of cutty sark or Greenwich market. Accept only cash no credit or debit card accepted here. Service was not good and we got wrong order latter on changed without cost. No restroom here. No public parking.

Visited this place on a very crowded Sunday morning, following the nice reviews I read. However, my experience was completely different. Even though the staff was friendly, we had our coffee served in dirty mugs and plates: coffee stains from previous use, seeds(!!) stuck on the side of my mug!
As for the coffee itself, it was nothing special to be honest. On the contrary, left a burnt aftertaste.
We asked for a cappuccino and an espresso, got served a cappuccino and an americano, but charged for a cappuccino and 2 espressos. Go figure.. I had to go back at the store and claim back my missing change.
Finally as others noted it's Cash only, but do not except any receipt!!

This is a delightful independent cafe on a quirky side street entrance to Greenwich Market. The decor is full of art and even chandeliers and a moon-scape light shade. The tea and cakes are great, tea served in traditional metal tea pots. A small menu means they concentrate on quality, and my friend loved her carrot cake. Recommended.

We discovered this little gem yesterday. Immediately fell in love with the place when I heard Scott Walker being played...followed by Jeff Buckley. Where else do you hear such great music in a café these days? On top of that great coffee, such delicious cakes and super friendly staff.

Interesting old style “grandmom” living room experience. Great tea, good cakes. One star down for not shiny clean dishes (I had to clean my cup before tea pouring).
But worth a visit!

Been here a few times in the past and always enjoyed it. Today the place was full so we decided to take two slices of cake. One Raspberry and the other Blueberry. The owner was kind and courteous as ever and apologised for us having to wait. He asked us if we had ever had these cakes before, we replied no and were assured that they are amazing and the best that would have ever had. After getting home, making a mug of Tea for us both and looking forward to these cakes. We were both a little upset as these two slices cost just shy of £8! We shared each slice and were both left feeling unimpressed considering the outlay. If we return I sincerely hope that things improve.
