The chapel and rooftop were excellent spaces for storytelling with Alan Gilbey and Alan Dein tonight at Oxford House, rainbow included.

Lovely community café hidden away here with pleasant outdoor seating overlooking Weavers' Fields, though curiously not open at weekends.

An excellent building tour led by Jess. We found the history of the "settlement houses" fascinating.

Amazing place, beautifully restored building, runs a series of music sessions on Fridays and occasionally very informative tours of the house. Really like the cafe in the building and they can make a mean vegan milkshake. Worth exploring, especially if someone is interested in the history of settlement houses and social care and support made available by some individuals.

Such a unique and historic venue in the heart of East London. Wide variety of spaces to hire and wonderful cafe serving delicious coffee and food.
There is a really laid back, authentic community feeling. The Staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend as a oasis of calm in otherwise hectic Bethnal Green.

I have just been on an excellent tour of the building, led by Jess. The building itself is well worth seeing and there is a good view from the roof. The tour also gives an interesting insight into both the history of Oxford House and the community in this part of London.
