Storiel sports four distinct features:
an art gallery
an exposition of North Wales' history
a gift shop
a cafe.

Admission is free. It's well worth a visit.

Lovely museum and gallery space, with well presented exhibits and friendly staff. Good cafe and all in a fine historical building.

The museum is called 'Storiel'. I don't know what that means.

I was in there only about thirty minutes (half the time I was in the cathedral). This is not because there is not much of interest - there is much to see of local archaeological discoveries, social history, and industrial traditions. And it is all displayed well in a professional and user-friendly manner.

BUT, the art gallery was full of only contemporary pieces and there was only one item that attracted my eye. This may be because of limited space, curatorial choice, or simply that this is what others want to see, but I was disappointed all the same.

Beautiful place full of art and artifacts. Attended an amazing launch of a small book exhibition in the lobby. A great way to spend an afternoon.

The museum part was closed. This is mentioned on their website but it's not exactly centre stage.
