It is really a fantastic place to spend the day. Parking 80p per h and £2.5 day tiket or £5 year tiket perfect for art lovers (small but very nice art collection) beautifull gardens where dogs are welcome. Advised to ring first to confirm if a wedding is taking place otherwise some areas of the house could be closed for visitors. There is a very interesting antiquary shop behind the main building, just knock the door if it usually seem to be closed.

Had a lovely walk round Townley Park & Woods, passed through the Art Gallery, grabbed freshly brewed coffee's situated just outside the gallery. Work is being carried out at the cafe building therefore it's closed, but the onsite Food/drinks is great with lot's of choice available for adult's/kid's. Reasonably priced, but you can pay using your card too, which is a bonus, with a variety of teas/coffee with syrups/milkshakes/smoothies/biscuit snacks..very busy with a Funfair on, & other families out for walks, golfers. Lovely to see so many people venture out after lockdown!
