Currently closed, opens again 12th May. A place for people to enjoy and discuss contemporary art. Staff are friendly and helpful. The gallery also offers a range of talks and workshops which are free. Entry is also free.

It is amazing and very beautiful. I loved every bit of my stay there. The active space room was really nice. In all, it is a very artsy place and confirms the beauty in art

Had never been to this gallery before and it was a real eye opener! Some unexpected parts. The video installation on the top floor was a little bizarre with no real guidance about what it was, but the works on the ground floor - particularly the Soviet era maps of the UK were exciting!

Nice spot for galleries. I especially like the large window with a view of Guildhall. If I had this in my house, I would be quite satisfied.
The gallery itself was different, but enjoyable.

Brilliant gallery (with super friendly staff) offering free admission in the heart of Southampton, walked past it many times and decided to pop in and have a look. So glad we did, some great thought provoking pieces and installations on display. We will definitely be coming back.

Staff is extremely friendly and great at explaining the exhibitions that are on (e.g. the active space room). The space itself is very air-y with tall ceilings, but that doesn't detract from the art. Tends towards modern art.

This place has the most boring art displays and frankly, a very weird experience... staff were friendly tho which is always great. But as an experience? Definitely 1 star.

After having the exhibits explained they were of more interest but it seemed like I was looking at a number of student projects rather than something to really excite or cause you to think.
