This is one of my favourite places in London, and the fact that I get the best hair colour and cut I've ever had doesn't hurt either! Fun, funny, relaxing, cool (but not to the point that you feel un-cool)…I love this place. My whole family gets our hair cut here (husband, me, two kids) and it's certainly an experience. Would totally recommend!

Michael is vaguely amusing sometimes, it depends if he has seen his brother Dean and remembered any anecdotes or jokes. His prowess as a stylist is not in any question though provided you enjoy the coconut cut. The very best thing about the place was his talent for finding incredibly good looking and glamorous assistants although his jealousy usually ensured that they were fired.

I really recommend this salon. The stylist is a unusual and different hairdresser to the typical type at high street salons and therefore the cuts are different and in my opinion better than the conveyor belt looks on offer. Well done

Always a great hair cut (from any hair dresser there) and as a bonus Michael, the owner, knows all there is to know of the happenings and controversies in and around Kentish Town.

To be fair, the art exposed in here seems very interesting and they seem to run many events on a weekly basis. With regards to the haircutting for men, I would recomend to go somewhere else. The owner is unprofessional. He may be talented at what it does but customers should be treated with respect, not like cash-cows.

Awesome place. The haircuts always feel and look great. Really recommend to anyone. Staff make you feel super comfortable and are just genuine lovely people up for a chat about anything.

Being new to this neighbourhood, I’ve struggled to find a decent hairdresser - but finally I might have found the right one. Friendly staff, work to very good standards, and an overall pleasant experience. If only they had a working card machine, it would be spot on 😉
