A superb new centre for photography, from one of the world's leading photographers. Gallery space, excellent bookshop, plus many 'must see' talks on photography & photographers. Gallery is free, the talks have a very modest cost (always worth every penny).

When I visited there was a brilliant exhibition of images showing the traditional cider making process. In addition there is a good range of photo books for sale - and even more in the library. Combine it with a visit to the RPS which is close by, and also very good.

The Martin Parr Foundation is an amazing hidden gem. Visiting their gallery space was a real delight. At the moment they showing the work of Chloe Dewe Mathews, which is incredibly beautiful charting activities along the Thames over a period of 5 years. The exhibition is superbly hung and lit and the venue is fully accessible and free. I highly recommend a visit.
