I'd admired Angela Melkis's work for some time in the window before I finally went in and took the plunge. The people at Clifton Fine Art couldn't have been more helpful, and within three hours the painting was delivered and hanging in my living room. I'm delighted - it cheers me up each morning!

I recently purchased a fabulous painting from Clifton Fine Art. The service was impeccable. The communication throughout was first rate. The painting was delivered by courier and was fully packaged and protected. I would happily buy from them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I’m in Los Angeles and recently missed out on acquiring a painting by Harry Bunce. After a quick Google search, I came across a version available at Clifton Fine Arts. After reading a few of the 5-star reviews, I reached out by email and promptly received a reply from one Rowan Mead. Words would not do justice to the service I received from Rowan. Pick anything - knowledge, service, communication - it was all top notch. Almost forgot… the shipping. Superb packaging and on my wall 10-days after purchasing. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy from again and neither should you.

We recently bought Our Walk by Cat Croxford from Clifton fine art and I have to say, the whole experience was very good indeed. We were well looked after, the painting arrived quickly and there were some nice touches in how it was wrapped and how we were treated as customers. The painting itself is stunning and surpasses our expectations when up in our dining room. I find myself getting lost in it occasionally. It is very beautiful. We will almost certainly buy Cat’s work again.

The problem with a lot of galleries (especially the chains) is that it doesn't feel that they are invested into the artists.
I get the sense that at Clifton Fine Art they really care about every artist and every piece of art they have on display and they want to find something that you connect with.
I recommend a visit to have a look around, but most importantly, have a chat about what you like and see where it takes you.

Rowan helped us buy an amazing painting by Steve Slimm recently, a beautiful depiction of the Avon Gorge. Clifton Fine Art has many great pieces to suit all tastes, and Rowan was knowledgable and very helpful when we were making our decision. We couldn’t rate our experience higher and hopefully will be back to add more pieces to our collection in the future.
