Gallery Robert Sutherland & Plant Face

I am a collector of Rob's work, especially his red and black blood London gallery pieces. I own the famous eye and it hangs in my lounge, there is so much texture and depth in his work that every time I look at it I find new and exciting elements almost hidden, just waiting to pull you in. I have various other red and black pieces and they compliment each other even though the subject matter is different within each canvas. Breathtaking - yes, beguiling - yes, scary - yes sometimes. Why is he not hanging in the National galleries? Outstanding original Artist that is Lars Blood aka Rob Sutherland.

I believe you are left in no doubt what you feel when looking at any one of his works. With the works I have, the deep searing reds, and depths to which they go, are only scratching the surface of the technical intricacy and contrasts that reveal themselves time and again each in a different light. His manipulation of oils give his work an organic visceral flow unlike that of any other of his contemporaries, of which, in his league, in my humble opinion there are very few.
I'm incredibly happy with the works I have, they get commented on whenever I have someone round, as they stare, in awe...followed by asking me for his contact info or where his gallery is.
The man has skills.

I'm the proud owner of "St George" - has pride of place in my hallway and all my friends comment how amazing it is. Also proud owner of amazing tattoos from Rob which bring out my true nature.

Rob Sutherland is a man of great talent and great, often dark, humour. All his art shows this in spades. Art isnt just about 'pretty', it should take you on a journey, lead your mind to other places. His work does just that, sometimes dragging your sensibilities whimpering into the dark recesses of your psyche, but you'll come out the other side exhilerated at the ride, at new avenues explored and giggling a silent thanks for the experience. Alternatively you can just hang it on the wall and think "That's nice"

I've commissioned a painting by Sutherland and I'm over the moon with it. It's a stunning piece of art. I love the textures and the abstract landscape reveals something new every time I look at it. The artist was super easy to deal with. Thank you so much!

Fantastic artist, both on canvas and on skin. The painting I purchased from Rob takes pride of place in my living room. I will hopefully be purchasing more in the very near future.

Exciting and energetic work. Great value for a London gallery. Worth visiting if you are in Greenwich. Artists are down to earth and genuine , probably should come with a health warning.

Rob is intriguing artist. Lucky to have one piece.
