1) lunch: I would happier buying my own lunch. We went to the cheapest place in Rye. I would suggest that lunch be taken in one of the nicer places in Rye so that this was part of the experience. Tasty sandwitches would have been better.
2) Not impressen with the insistence on using a trypod, this just took up valuable time. With modern cameras and technology it would have been suffice to give the advantages of trypod. I had a 1,4 lens.
3) There was no discussion of the photos that we took. I expected some discussion and comments from the other members of the day training and from David himself.
4) The end of the day was spent in the studio where David worked on one of his photos using photoshop. For me photoshop has little to do with photography. This is a subject which requires about 3 months training.
5) There is something about looking at a subject and getting the best image. When you have messed up, then you use photoshop to rescue.
6) It would appear that many of the magnificent images in the gallery are created using photoshop. (they are good).
7) Photoshop is a very expensive tool, well out of the reach of most amateurs.
Apart from the above points if the training had been a quarter the price with more interaction it could have been good. The end came rather abruptly.

Steve
