Utterly wonderful building and friendly owners. A real treat for anyone interested in Georgian London.

Feel like you've gone back in time when staying here. Once the heart of the french proestants, huguenot weavers lived and worked in these houses. Beautiful surroundings with all the moods cooks you'd expect. Antiques that set the scene, the quirkiness of the stairs ams original panelled walls. In a great location as busy across the road from the famous spitalfields market. Pub just ay the corner and brick lane at the other end of the road. Fabulous...

I love this place so so much! Definitely a perfect spot for a coffee break. The kitchen downstairs is amazing, I love being there while they baking (or not) as it feels like I’m visiting an old friend’s house, what an atmosphere! They also do exhibitions and masterclasses at the “shed” in the garden! Love love love! One of the London’s hidden gems, for sure!!!

A fabulous shop with a fabulous range of antiques, decorative objects and books. There's also a gallery at the rear of the shop and an excellent coffee shop in the basement. The interior is beautiful and absolutely unspoiled. Pure 17thC. Make sure you visit. It's an absolute gem.

A great place to visit, the books for sale are historically interesting about the local area and the atmosphere is warm friendly and an insight to how these houses were lived in

Interesting space with changing exhibitions but the very loveliest little cafe with a delightful courtyard, delicious homemade cake and a pot of tea for less than some local establishments charge for a small cup of indifferent coffee. Well worth a visit.
