Beautiful gallery space in one of the most eclectic and diverse areas of London .
Visited the Warren du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones exhibition here in March which has been carefully curated and had a live VR experience !

Definitely recommending this (for now!) hidden gem !

Everything I have been to at this Whitechapel gallery has been top notch. Loved the current show Pop Now and the recent Lumps show was brilliant. No vanity shows, no stand-offish gallery assistants watching every move. Every time I have been to Gallery 46 there's been great art and I have met really interesting people.
(I'm not just saying that cos I was in a show here!).

You know you've arrived when you visit gallery 46. A new generation gallery that spits optimistic fire within the east London art community. With an active gallery program that that knows no boundaries. Make the visit and leave with a heart burn. Enjoy.

Fantastic little gallery I've been going to in the Whitechapel area for years.

Part owner, music producer Shaun McCluskey takes a hands-on role, ensuring they always have exciting and relevant shows.

Situated in a converted former terrorist row house, there's even a nice back garden (which is where you'll find the loo!).

Get on their mailing list for notification of new shows and opening nights.

Our first visit... great little gem of a place just behind The Royal London Hospital.
Brilliant group exhibition on at the moment, wonderful display space situated in two interlocking Victorian terrace houses.
Obviously not in full swing at the moment with Covid restrictions, but we're certainly looking forward to seeing some performance art in their outside space one day soon.
Highly recommended.

Excellent East London gallery in the heart of Whitechapel. Deceptively large interior behind an old Victorian terrace facade. Really friendly owners. Saw an excellent contemporary group exhibition with a variety of styles and media. Well worth a visit and not far from the Whitechapel gallery and delights of brick lane as a bonus.
