It ia quite small but interesting place. But you should pay. Children are free.

An interesting gallery and museum. Along with various local historical artefacts are works by Augustus and Gwen John who came from Tenby. Also there is an impressive mosaic by the artist Jonah Jones attached to an outer wall to the rear of the building. Part abstract, part figurative it depicts the Tenby headland and the surrounding seas which this mosaic overlooks. In essence a reflection of its own location.
Unfortunately some bits of the mosaic pieces have come off, probably as a result of that stunning location as it is open to storms, wind, rain and whatever the weather can throw at it.
It would be a shame were it be allowed to further deteriorate and hopefully something may be done to restore and protect it.

Very good for a small local museum. The collections were surprisingly extensive, with well written information boards. Staff were a delight and extremely helpful.

Perfect place to go on a rainy day (like today!)

Very interesting local museum. Lots to see with plenty of artifacts and local paintings. Very reasonable entrance fee yet your ticket allows re-entry for 1 year. Took our 5 year old granddaughter who enjoyed it until I scared her by the pirate jail! Will return for sure.
