I really enjoyed visiting the focus gallery a few weeks back. It has a beautiful selection of work and there is something to suit everyone, if not then you can always order to commision. The displays are frequently changed and kept fresh a long side their stunning seasonal window displays, which is curated by the lovely owner (Antonia) who is both approachable and friendly. It also boasts an excellent array of equipment in the downstairs jewellery workshop, holding a variety of courses set throughout the year and situated next to an open gallery space featuring/exhibiting up and coming artists.

Keep your eye out for this one, it is a definite must see when visiting from near or a far.

Antonia and Sophie make for the friendliest art gallery experience you will ever have. A proper 'something for everyone' place you really will always find gift inspiration at the right price here...you can upscale your spend according to occassion and that's what I really like about this 'one-stop-shop' gallery! They will also make you tea while you peruse which is great in my book😀!

The best craft gallery in Nottingham...just a short walk up Derby Road from the city centre, how healthy is that! And well worth the journey. Fabulous ceramics, jewellery and prints caught my eye.

A treasure trove of local handcrafted art and craft. A go to gallery for jewellery with a large selection of makers. The staff are knowledgeable helpful and kind without being pushy. A must see destination when in Nottingham.

I completed the three rings in a day course at nottingham jewellery school. The course was very well organised, all tools and techniques were clearly demonstrated in person and with video back up. I successfully achieved three rings in a day and was very pleased with my efforts. Many thanks to Alys for her kindness and encouragement and also for the delicious home made cakes which accompanied the course. Thoroughly recommend this school.

I couldn't recommend NJS enough! I've recently finished a 6 week course and a one day workshop and thoroughly enjoyed both. I've learned so much from Lex and can't wait to go back again!

First of all, tutors at the jewellery school are approachable and always ready to help you on your making journey. They truly do create a welcoming environment. The studio is well equipped with a vast variety of tools. It is a space where you can make great jewellery but also make mistakes and it all be ok in the end because you have learned, had a cup of tea and maybe a slice of extremely good cake!
