Halcyon Casts - Baby, Child & Family Life Casting based in Buckinghamshire

After receiving a recommendation from a friend I started looking into casts for our 6 month old daughter. I had made a failed attempt at creating an inkless footprint so decided it would be a great keepsake to invest in as we hadn’t done any newborn photo shoots or anything else similar.
From my very first message Elle was super helpful and we managed to arrange to have our casts made on the day our daughter turned 6 months. Elle was so warm and welcoming when we arrived, there was lots of happy chatting and time for us to settle in. The actual casting was super quick and easy. A few weeks later we went back to pick up the finished framed casts and were so chuffed! We have it on display on a shelf in our living room and I absolutely love seeing it everyday, and as our daughter gets bigger the tiny hand & feet casts become more precious. We will definitely return to capture the same memories for any future babies we have! Thank you so much Elle.

We were blown away by not only the final product, but the entire service! Elle was patient and kind with our two littles and our girls adored her. With snacks and toys provided the time flew by and we all found the casting process relaxing and enjoyable.
The communication throughout was great and we had asked to see update photos which added a nice touch.
Upon opening the final casts I found myself quite overcome with emotion… it’s amazing how much of your child’s personality comes through in a hand and foot cast.
For anyone not sure whether to get baby cast done, I can’t recommend it enough!

AMAZING, from when we first turned up with our 3 week old baby Elle totally made us feel at ease and was brilliant with our baby. We initially had a hand and foot cast in plaster and in bronze, they are truly brilliant, I’m so glad we got them done such fantastic memories to cherish, I can’t put them down!

Our cast of our little boys feet sit pride and place in our house, we could not be happier that we went to Elle and wouldn’t even question going back (which we will!)

There’s a certain type of person you want to be around with your new baby on one of your first trips out of the house, and Elle is really that person.
Our session was so relaxed and we absolutely loved receiving the updates on Instagram throughout the process.
The casts are beyond what we’d hoped for and despite having about a million baby pictures there’s something so precious about being able to hold something in your hand that is the size they were. You can’t get this from the pictures!
So glad we got our casts done and will be back for the next baby’s hands. Thank you!

I was lucky enough to be gifted our hand casting experience by a friend when my son was born. The whole experience from start to finish was fab! Elle is such a lovely person and really made us feel comfortable. It was one of the first outings I had done with my newborn so I was a bit nervous but Elle was so welcoming and professional, even super understanding when we were running late. The hand and foot cast is such a beautiful memory of when our son was first born. Thank you so much Elle! Highly recommend!!
