'The Power of Colour' Palette knife painting Art Classes with Zsuzsanna Pataki, artist

Just love Zsuzsanna’s enthusiasm and use of bold colours. She is a fantastic teacher and encourages you to just paint. You don’t need to be arty at all - Zsuzsanna demonstrates some techniques and then you just get some paint on the canvas and stand back to look at your creation!

I'm an artist who dabbled in art as a hobby for several years and always wanted to loosen up my style to take my work to the next level. During lock down I took the opportunity to take several classes with Zsuzanna and I have to say the classes really exceeded my expectations.

Even though the class had a range of experience levels Zsuzanna managed to make the classes fun and engaging for everyone. Those that never painted before were producing beautiful pieces they could proudly hang in their homes and the more experienced artists learned relax into and develop their own art style. I am now a professional artist, something I never would have imagined doing had I not taken classes with Zsuzanna.

I highly recommend classes with Zsuzanna to anyone who is interested in learning to paint or in taking their artwork to a more confident level.

Zsuzsanna is such an inspirational teacher, helping everyone no matter what little experience they might have to discover their creative side and a little joy through painting.

Discovering Zsuzsanna’s online Saturday morning classes during lockdown, brought a ray of sunshine to every week, giving me the confidence to pick up a pallet knife for the first time. It’s amazing what you can uncover or achieve with a little enthusiasm and a great teacher.

I would really recommend these classes to anyone who has always thought about it, but never quite got around to it - zsuzsanna makes it all feel very easy and natural. If nothing else you will have fun.

Zsusanna is a very inspiring teacher who makes it possible for anyone to paint whether they have experience or are inexperienced. She has a wealth of knowledge which she passes on using demos and by giving helpful suggestions.
I’ve tried to paint images I didn’t think I would ever attempt.
Her classes are relaxed and well trying whatever your ability level.

Zsuzsanna painted my Mum's portrait from old pictures that weren't of the best quality. Not being able to see the person you're painting in the flesh can't be an easy task. There was something really emotional about watching her paint in the few sessions where I attended (when it was allowed) to give feedback from memories dating over 15 years. There is something a portrait brings that a picture will never be able to mimic. Zsuzsanna captured the smile and gentleness that I remember of my Mum and I will cherish her lovely portrait for many years.

A wonderful experience with Zsuzsanna ! I was totally out of my comfort zone but have learnt a whole new approach to painting - and with so much fun, encouragement and just joy! Thank you Zsuzsanna - looking forward to picking up that palette knife again with you very soon.

These classes with Zsuzsanna were wonderful! Her demonstrations were excellent and I learnt so much from them. What has really stayed with me is how to use much more vibrant colours in my paintings.
