Went to Wing Wah mid morning..I go regularly as I live up the road and hail from South East Asia..Im an older white woman from W Malaysia..on the 2 brief occasions I spoke to the long haired worker this morning I was met not just with curtness n rudeness but what felt like hostility. Shes generally impolite but today she was at her worst. The short haired lady was polite. I was polite and calm and made an enquiry re chilli oil. Of course I will go to Wing Wah regularly because I have no choice. However this ladys rudeness will put some people off.

Great place to go if you are after authentic ingredients but a bit hit & miss if they have what you want in stock.

Staff are helpful and helped me through my shopping list and don't smirk too much at my bad attempts at pronounceimg the names and offered alternatives to what I needed.

A wide selection of exotic ingredients available and a great place for gluten-free rice noodles!

Always like this place. So many brilliant items for all your stir fry needs. If you need a specific ingredient and your struggling, you are likely to find it here.
Staff are friendly too. They found everything upon my friends list in moments.

Great selection of products, little gem in Worthing to find Asian food & ingredients you miss.
I have given 3 stars as I have noticed a pattern with the way customers get treated in the shop: people who are obviously Asian will receive a friendly warm welcome & will have conversations with the staff. Anyone who does not appear Asian get completely ignored or very little time. I am Asian but I do not look it and I feel uncomfortable whenever I am in the shop, which is quite often.

Great little shop for picking up Asian food stuffs. They have a good selection of cupboard, frozen and refrigerated foods. The Japanese selection is small, same for Korean but you can get the basics like Japanese curry roux blocks and Korean chilli paste.
