Far Away Foods

We have many years of enjoying oriental food when we were working in the Asia Pacific region and it was reassuring to find a food store which stocked many of our favourite things. With a proprietor who had good knowledge and could give us advice on items we didn't know much about.

Literally the only place I know in Bury where you can get African food stuffs, spices and all. They don't have everything but they what you most likely need

This is the place to go for all those unusual food ingredients. Asian, Afro-Caribbean and European. Helpful staff and unhurried service. An absolutely great shopping experience.

Really good. This shop is what Bury needed. Fresh fruit and veg and a thousand other things I wanted to buy in spices, sauces, rices etc. Had to drag myself away. Will be back. Obsessively I fear.

A really good local shop selling fresh, frozen and other goods from many different countries. Frozen parathas, pickles and jumbo raw king prawns are some of my favourites

No need! Lived in Far East - a replacement market there for me. Good quality fresh produce.
