Decided to try this place on a whim as we were in the area. Bad mistake!! After insisting that we order drinks before we were ready, we then had to wait an age for the actual food menus to arrive. When they eventually did, we made our selections and then the waiting game began again. After 20 minutes, a waiter came over to tell us that one of the main items we had ordered was not available. Choose again!! Wait again. Nearly an hour before food turned up. One dish lukewarm, another so spicy it was inedible (not as described on the menu) and a waiter who had a distinctly bad body odour problem!!

On the plus side, the aquarium was lovely and the whole décor of the place was very relaxing.

Undoubtedly THE best Indian restaurant in Hammersmith and west London. Fantastic variety, wonderfully cooked, expert and subtle use of spices and flavours, not overly greasy. Any negative reviews here are nonsense. Been going here for years and very consistently excellent cuisine. Thank you to the whole team for never disappointing us!

Cooked from fresh ingredients! I have a garlic allergy and this was the only restaurant in the area that was able to accommodate my allergy. The chef advised that can make a garlic free meal for me as they cook from fresh ingredients. Everything I ordered tasted amazing!
Thank you Anarkali I am very impressed.

Every dish is made from scratch once ordered and you can really taste it. This restaurant is one of the most underrated in London and despite everyone holding their local curry house as London's best, very few reach this level.

The food was ok-nothing special. The massive issue here is the waiters are not very competent (the one guy who took our drinks order didn't actually put it in). The wait time is simply not worth it-it was horrendous and another table complained while we were there. Would not recommend this restaurant. There are many other Indian restaurants around that are better. 0 rated
always go to Potli few doors away from them. Best service and food there...

It's ok, food is hit and miss, chicken also the same, asked for tikka in my meal last night, didn't get it nor did anyone let me know I wasnt getting it, my husband's lamb dish was decent apparently, obviously he has more success than me!! The nan bread is very good though and the manager is also very friendly............ Don't get caught in the toilet for too long, the light switches off and you can't get out!!!
Been a couple of Friday nights now and it's very quiet so not sure how long it will survive for......

Excellent food. Poppadoms had a fantastic texture. Although a chicken tikka masala wasn’t listed in the menu the chef prepared one for us specially. When it arrived the chicken was beautifully cooked and the sauce was equally delicious. At the end of the meal the chef came out to ask if we had enjoyed it which was a fantastic touch.

Temperature issues mentioned in other reviews have been resolved. Despite it being a cold evening in mid January the restaurant was nice and warm.

Would have given five stars if only for the fact it took a long time to ask for and receive the bill.

Food was great.

We asked to see the menu for all you can eat. They gave us the full price menu. When we queried it they just glazed over the issue and it ended up costing about £27 a head instead of £16. We paid this and even left a tip because the food was, in fairness, really good.
