Orchard House

As care homes go it's ok really

Our beloved mother was sent to Orchard House from the LRI, during her stay, she developed bed sores & an infection from her catheter, she was re-admitted to the LRI, where she died on the 6/1/2018, in my view the care she received at Orchard House was poor, the care at LRI was excellent.

Awful
Mother In law left alone whilst in their care.
Never had a doctor out.
Struggling with breathing.
Catheta not changed.
Left with sores
Endless list

This care home,is not just for care but a home for my mother for the last year of her life. Even though its been hard, the last year due to covid. Not one of the residents has contacted covid due to there vigilance. I feel that all the staff go above and beyond there call of duty to not only look after there residents but act like there family. They are an amazing and dedicated team of professionals and I can can not thank them enough. They went above and beyond to allow me the time and dignity to say goodbye to my mum in her last days. I can't thank the staff enough who cared for my mum who especially have had to deal with this awful situation of covid. Thank you all at Orchard House for your care and compassion ❤. Xxxx

Terrible! rude staff, terrible care, no thought for the residents. Would give it minus stars if that was possible. Avoid

I would like to say thank-you, to all the staff who cared for my wife anne during the time she was with you, your kindness, support & company made all the difference to her.
Having visited the home during this time, I as anne's husband appreciated the demanding and difficult job you all do.
