Megan was extremely helpful from start to finish! She kept me updated throughout and made sure everything was prepped and ready. I got my scirocco back and couldn't be happier with it. Thanks again Megan, hope am absolute asset to Pennings!

Pennings appears to have a couple of different Google review pages, for what reason I don’t know. I’ve left a fairly scathing review on the other one so will leave a quick summary here as well. Workmanship good, service pretty dreadful and I certainly wouldn’t recommend I’ll be back if I could avoid it.

Pennings have been wonderful to deal with. Although there were slight delays with some of the parts for my car (which is to be expected with what's going on in the world!), Megan kept me updated and fit my car in when they were extremely busy, she was lovely to speak to. They done an amazing job on fixing my car door which has been drove into, you wouldn't even know that it happened! They even cleaned the car for me, inside and out, which was very appreciated. Thanks for all your help!

This was my first experience with Pennings as after a recent accident, they were selected by my insurer for the repair. It's not great when your car gets pranged so it really nice to deal with such friendly folks. Nothing was too much trouble when I needed my car picking up and a courtesy car brought to me a couple of weeks later after I returned from holiday. They even stayed a little after closing time to allow me to collect at my convenience, which I really appreciated. I had regular calls with updates once work had started and the final result was great, my car looks as good as new (and it's some way from it!). Thanks Gary, Megan and the team.

Totally dreadful customer service.
After waiting three months for a bumper to be replaced they finally took the car in. The four day repair took three weeks, they did not have the parts, then had the wrong parts delivered. They never once phoned me to explain what was happening. Total indifference for their customer service team and a manager who is clearly indifferent. Will never use again and I am not the first reviewer to mention their terrible customer service and I doubt if I will be the last. I would avoid them if I were you and find a competent company instead.

I was recently in a bumper bash and my insurance recommended Pennings in Watford. The repair was a quick turnaround, only problem is that the repair gave my car serious leaks in the boot, and back seats were drenched in water. I contacted them again and they told me to come in as soon as possible, they replaced a airvent that they assumed was the problem. As soon as I got the car back I noticed the back seats getting wet again and it's been back at Pennings for almost two weeks now, at this point it seems they have no clue what they're doing and I have no clue when I'm getting my car back. They're always telling me that it won't be long and I'll have my car back before Christmas, but I'm not sure if that is this year or next. With water running onto the seats twice, they should be replacing them, not just letting them dry. They have also got my insurance involved to try and avoid having to foot the bill themselves. Useless workmanship & customer service!

They have been straight.
I needed an urgent repair because I had a travel that I could not postpone (and I had to do it with my car). They checked the damage and did all assessments in a very professional way (I don’t see so very often, especially among youngsters). Next day they called me and reported their estimated timeframe to get the spares delivered, not promising the Moon. Advisable business.

Absolute shambles, DO NOT take your car to this place, They had my car for front end damage, they gave it back but my panels were out of line, light out of line bonnet out of line, the list is endless. I went back 4 times to get my car sorted. There is no quality control at this place, they damaged my car and would not admit to it but fixed it. They had my car for nearly 7 weeks, poor communication from this place. The colour of car doesn't match the rest of car. Their prep work before painting is horrendous, over spray and just sheer carelessness. Now, as a result my car need to go to a better garage to correct Pennings incompetence. STAY WELL AWAY FROM PENNINGS!
