IRG Merthyr

Due to my previous dealings with Other Garages, I feel I have to mention the way I was dealt with by I.R.G Merthyr. Even being under staffed and still working throughout COVID, I must say how impressed I was with the service. I totally appreciate that things are not as prompt as usual but when I got through they spent as much time as I needed to deal with my claim and also sorted out a courtesy car the same day😁👍. There was a delay in getting my car back but under the current circumstances I totally understood that. A big thank you to the office staff they couldn’t do enough for me. And I also knew what pressure they were under but it didn’t seem to phase them. Great Service. Will definitely use them again.

If your car is still drivable and there’s only cosmetic damage, don’t bother going here. Been taken advantage of because I’m a young driver and they keep pushing back my appointment when the incident happened months ago. Had it been worse and more damage they would’ve fixed it straight away, totally unfair. Terrible customer service, not helpful or empathetic at all. Very unhelpful and when my car does finally get fixed, I definitely won’t be back here again.

If you had/have an accident, please take note of this review and state that you DO NOT WANT IRG to be allocated the job… 23 weeks they have had my car and, it was meant to be fixed 8 days ago and I’m still waiting, apparently they are still waiting for a part, 23 weeks later.

Worst experience EVER!!
Every time I have called over the last 23 weeks all I have had is, waiting on parts, still waiting, and waiting. And guess what, they are still waiting!
Your lucky I can’t post with zero stars, don’t even deserve the 1 star.

Rude’ Rude’ Rude. My car went in for body repair 11th April 22 not once have anyone had the curtesy to contact me it’s now August 2nd still haven’t had it back’ this company is a joke I would never let these waste of space people gave my car again & if it wasn’t an insurance job I would have gone & taken it to a reputable garage

Work wise I have no complaints. But the time keeping and customer service it's very poor. If they cant give date and time of work completion.then don't give hope to the customers. They told 2/3 weeks and took more than a month for the completion. And they promised a day for collection and the worst thing is on the same day they are not attending the calls. I don't want others to happen like this. So beware if u give only if u have enough time like two months whether it's minor or major damage.

Had my car due to a hit n run in September went into irg with only 3 wheels. Came back to me couple days ago like new

Awful service. Sub standard workmanship. A 2 week job has taken over 2 months and returned for work to be rectified. Car returned and still not road legal. If you are contemplating using these I would advise against it. I'm sure some guy down a back alley would do a better job. The pictured was how the car was returned

I recently had my New generation 2021 seat Leon repaired and the services I received was excellent, not only was I kept abreast of each stage of the repair but also my concerns with supply of parts for such a new car were unfounded as they managed to find all new OEM parts and managed to recalibrate the sensors which is no small feat in its self. Overall I cannot recommend highly enough and special thanks to Ali.
