I visited this business on Monday 9 August looking for a quote for some repair work on my Volvo V40. Upon arrival I was greeted by a nice chap called Lee. Lee quoted me for the work that I wanted done, this quote was fair but I told Lee that I would go away and think about it and I would be in contact. A short while later I contacted Lee and told him that I would like to go ahead and get the work done. Lee advised me that the earliest date available for this work to be done was 11 October. Due to my work commitments I was unsure whether I could commit to this date so I told Lee to "pencil" me in for this date, I would check my work schedule and get back to him yesterday Tuesday 10 August. Lee advised that he would keep this date free until he had heard back from me. Yesterday I checked my work schedule and to my delight I was able to book the day off, which I did, I then telephoned Lee and his team to advise that I had been able to book the 11 October off and I wanted to go ahead with the repair work on this day only to be told by Lee that he gave the appointment slot away earlier on in the morning. This is not very professional at all. I am a man of my word, if I say that I am going to do something then I will do it, shame can't be said for everybody else. Never mind, I shall support another local business instead.
