My personal dealings with Pod Point do not reflect the recent negative reviews. Throughout the install process they were courteous and informative throughout. The engineer who came installed the charger exactly where we asked, with a tidy cable run in about 2.5 hours.

When I had some issues with charging I called the Customer Service line and spoke to an agent within 3-4 minutes. They took the details of my issue, put me on hold for about a minute. Told me they had rebooted my charger remotely and to try again in 5-10 minutes.

After this time my issues were resolved. From a personal perspective I can highly recommend Pod Point and would have no issues in doing so in future.

Thank you Samad and Team

Failed to install home charger and still to arrange a return visit. Pod point and their appointed fitting company just blame each other and no progress for 10 weeks.

Can't fault the installation service, full updates for delivery installation, polite, efficient and friendly workman who asked me exact details of where installation was to be, full of options and very quickly installed with no mess left. Excellent 5 🌟. Very happy

As others have said, installers fit units where convenient instead of where is required. Untidy wiring, customer 'service' and technical 'help' impossible to get hold of. 2 months down the line and our charger is still not providing full 7kw output, despite numerous calls (always goes through to an 'overflow' call centre, never to anyone who knows what they're doing). Very unprofessional company, who don't give two hoots about service once they've pocketed your cash. Avoid.

This company is obviously securing a huge amount of clients with the increase of electric vehicles. They are simply not equipped to deal with the level of clients they now have and the service that they provide is absolutely abysmal. I had to undertake my own on site survey attaching photographs, which in itself is not a problem at all really but when it was requested that I undertake specific electrical works which amounted to approximately £700 which necessitated lifting of floorboards and removal of stud walls, it took me over eight emails and probably four hours of holding for service to establish what actually was required. Suffice to say I was pulling my hair out with the level of their ineptitude. I eventually managed to have the electrical work undertaken, which incidentally was significantly less than originally detailed, and then had to wait to speak to a senior manager to initiate the installation. They have an out of hours Helpdesk who may as well be swimming pool cleaners, based on the level of knowledge of the client and its capabilities. Possibly the most difficult and annoying company to deal with. Avoid.

We had a private charger fitted.
Company ignored emails from me.
Engineer fitted the point where it was easier and quicker rather than where we wanted it - ignored several requests to put it in specific place, apparently for his ease snd a quick job.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced, and a shonky product ! False advertising, misleading consumers, and failure to meet their product claims. DO NOT BUY Podpoint products. Purchase a better quality home charger, trust me. I get a maximum 3kw supply from what is advertised as 7kw. Weeks and weeks go by without contact. I implore people to AVOID this company. I wish I could give minus stars here !!!!!!

What a total waste of time. Despite knowing my car delivery date they've advised the earliest install date is 3 weeks after this! Before finding that out I've had to pay, fill out numerious forms, send photos, complete my own site survey and exchange several emails. Why not advise this before making me jump through all these hoops? So I'm now a week ahead, £600 down and have to find another installer to do the job.
