Very poor customer service. Didn't keep me up to date on my claim . As far as I am aware the third party has withdrawn there claim my legal team have informed me and they expect to retrieve my access payment returned to me within the next 2 weeks. But Aviva have told me nothing and are extremely hard to contact to an update certainly not empressed with this company.

2020 car insurance with Saga cost £440
2021 renewal quote (no changes) £1,250+
Went to comparison site
Now insured with Aviva for £244
Saving over £1,000

Useless!!! Car insurance never fails to go by up at least £200 a year - and even when trying to renew or discuss anything it seems to be obligatory to disconnect the call at least twice!!! Useless company to deal with.

I chose not to accept Aviva's renewal quote as it was 50% more expensive than if I manually bought insurance. Since my renewal reminder I have been bombarded with nuisance "courtesy" calls from Aviva trying to pressure me into paying for thw renewal. I removed my phone number from my account and made an official complaint but the calls continue...

Aviva are fine as an insurance company, however be cautious if you are getting short term insurance, the exceptions to their policies may catch you out. Make sure you read all of the detail
